When you place you child in our care, you have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that a highly competent and qualified team is caring for your child. We carry out a rigorous recruitment process before employing only those whose vocation is the care of children. We seek to employ carers who are qualified, experienced and who share our ethos. We look for individuals who have excellent communication skills so that they can build trusting and open relationships with children and parents.

We believe this is important because it means our staff will be happier and stay longer, which in turn is good for your child. Your child will be assigned a key worker, who will carry out observations and set goals and achievement targets, and will keep you up to date on every stage of your child's progress.

We implement strict working policies, procedures and practices at all staff levels, and maintain, if not exceed staff ratios in line with those required by regulations. We send all our staff on Child First Aid training to ensure that they are competently able to deal with any first aid incident or medical emergency. We pride ourselves in our low staff turnover, which is important to ensure continuity of care. All of our current and future staff undergo DBS (Disclosure and barring service) vetting as part of our recruitment policy.
